‘I’d rather be a failure at something I love than a success at something I hate.' ~ George Burns

Gioia De Antoniis George Burnes quote handlettered for Her Lovely Heart

This quote by George Burns really hits home with me. When ever I feel myself hesitating, or fearing failure, I remind myself that ‘failing' while doing something I love is not really failing at all, but rather an opportunity to learn, grow, and adjust my direction. Real failure would be spending my life doing something I hate because it appeared ‘safer'.
