I can't quite believe that this is already the 6th chapter of The Heart List! This week, I wanted to approach the list from a slightly different angle, and list some of the frustrations running your own business can bring up. The idea isn't to dwell on the negative, but rather try to pinpoint some specific annoyances, so that it will be that much easier to target those when working on making running your business more fulfilling.
Here's how it works. Below, you can download a printable pdf of the current Chapter. You can then fill yours in, blog it, and link to your blog post in the comments below, so we can all visit each others lists and get inspired!

Chapter Six: List your biggest business frustrations
When trying to list all my biggest business frustrations, I realised that some of the frustrations I used to have don't apply any more, which is lovely to realise. But at the same time I had still held on to that feeling about certain tasks being a pain, so it was super useful to write down the ones I'm actually still dealing with, in order to let go of the ones that don't apply any more. I reckon there's still quite a lot to work on, but just having all these niggles down on paper makes me feel so much more empowered to actually do something about them. Plus, this exercise gave me about a gazillion ideas for posts and newsletters. Here's my list, I'd love to see yours!
- Not having enough time for everything I want to do.
- Losing focus at stressful times.
- Sometimes feeling intimidated by others.
- Not being able to do everything myself.
- Fighting against comparison to others.
- Hating routine.
- Trying to figure out where I want to be in 5 years time.
- Having to constantly evolve skills as technology advances.
- Fighting for time off.
- Dealing with email!
