Chapter Seven: List the things that bring you most joy at work

Over time it's easy to start feeling a bit disillusioned and run down by all the routines of running a business, so it's really important to take time out and connect to the aspects that give you most joy about the work you do. Knowing what truly lights you up is also a great way to hone in on where you should be focusing most of your energy in order to keep momentum going, and feeling like you run a business that feeds your heart and soul. As I run a couple of businesses, my list is a bit of a mesh-up of everything I get to do. Here's my list, I'd love to see yours!

  1. Feeling fully alive when inspiration strikes.
  2. Coming up with new ideas.
  3. Helping others find their magic.
  4. Having the freedom to create my schedule and life.
  5. Creating new products and services.
  6. Surrounding myself with beauty.
  7. Always moving – never static.
  8. Creating a business that reflects myself.
  9. Getting to play daily.
  10. Learning more about myself constantly.
  11. Getting to connect with inspirational people all over the world.
